Calming Pet Classical Music, Toronto Concert Orchestra plans concert for dogs in June

Classical music is often used by owners to calm their pets,  Toronto Concert Orchestra will perform a selection of dog-friendly classical tunes, more than 5,000 four-legged guests are expected at the Iams So Good! Audiences can expect classical pieces and lighter music including arrangements of Hound Dog, Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp, and How Much is that Doggie in the Window. “I haven’t played for dogs before but I like to include everybody,” said conductor Kerry Stratton. “This is a fun, open-air, family concert.”

As well as the classical soundtrack, there are also plans for a ‘dog-friendly photo booth’ as well as goodie bags and samples of food.
